Some under mount sinks particularly the steel bowls wear out and start looking dated over time. In some odd cases the sink drops from stone as the adhesive fails. In this case, both of these happened, the sink fell off and since it was old and worn, the customer decided to upgrade to a Silgranit sink. It was a simple inexpensive upgrade that gave the entire kitchen a new look. Being a stone top, cutting and polishing was necessary and had to be done on-site, a rather messy undertaking. However, these jobs can be done with little disruption and almost zero mess to the home. Our renovation company isolated the kitchen from the rest of the home with poly sheets taped from floor to ceiling around the work area. Using dustless cutting and polishing tools, the kitchen renovation job was completed and minimal clean up was required after.
