Sometimes I tell people renovating is addictive. That's because some things look dated and in need of upgrade in a home, other parts look okay but as soon as one renovation project is completed, everything else next to it looks dated,old, worn. When you are doing a large project like a kitchen, budget for much more than what meets the eye. You will probably need new flooring, window and door casings (and if your windows are 40 years old and you live in Canada, probably new windows too!)
